Full 2026 rankings, city guides, and red-flag checks: Business Cash Advance Settlement.

Every MCA default begins with the same discovery: the paperwork and the bank account tell different stories about what was sold.

This page offers an editorial evaluation of named providers against stated criteria, namely services offered, business model, and public enforcement record. The order below reflects editorial judgment on those criteria. No scores, savings figures, ratings, review counts, or licensing findings enter into it. Each company named is considered here as a provider relevant to owners facing merchant cash advance default.

Six providers follow in that order: the single debt relief company, four funders whose agreements define the default, and a banned operation whose record supplies the caution the others imply without stating. Every agreement, filing, and processor notice belongs in one folder.

Delancey Street

The negotiator comes first because the funders below share one trait: they originate. Delancey Street Debt Relief Inc of New York gives 104 W 40th Street in New York on its contact page, with MCA settlement, Reconciliation Shield, Proactive MCA Defense, and UCC lien defense in its navigation, and the own site describes a private business debt relief company based in New York.

Delancey Street is not a law firm (a fact the own site prints in plain terms, if plain is the word for a sentence most readers skip), and the sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action, a search result and not a clearance. Negotiation starts from the documents, not from the story, because the story changes under pressure and the documents do not. Anything said to the funder first, even casually, can return as evidence against the business.

Simply set every agreement, filing, and processor notice on the table, and Delancey Street will sort and sequence each obligation, scrutinize and summarize the payment record, and frame a response that fits the balance and the cash behind it. The company provides a confidential initial review alongside independently licensed counsel for the legal work. The objective is to ensure counsel shapes every statement before a collector hears it, and to ensure independent counsel carries the legal work throughout.

Nobody reads the covenants until the debits start.

Rapid Finance

Rapid Finance of Bethesda Maryland gives 4500 East West Highway in Bethesda on its Rapid Finance contact page for its Bethesda office. The own site offers an extremely long menu of small business loans, merchant cash advance, line of credit, bridge loan, SBA loan, invoice factoring, asset based loans, and commercial real estate loans, each governed by its own agreement.

But length of menu and clarity of agreement move in opposite directions. Often we see the brochure product and the agreement product differ. Identify the exact product in the signed papers before any conversation about relief, in order to keep the negotiation on the agreement rather than the brochure, which is always a lopsided conversation when the agreement is unread. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Fora Financial

Fora Financial of New York New York lists 1385 Broadway in New York on its Fora Financial contact page for its Broadway office, offering small business loans with revenue advance, business line of credit, SBA loan, and term loans, each with its own name in the agreement.

Counsel who practice before these courts know the Broadway address without looking it up, the way regulars know a room. That familiarity proves nothing about any individual agreement. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

OnDeck

OnDeck of New York New York holds its main office at 1400 Broadway, with customer service mail directed to South Jordan Utah, and the own site offers business term loans with a business line of credit: limits from 6K to 200K, funding up to 400K, money in 24 hours after approval. Enova owns the company.

The homepage counts in hours. The agreement counts in pages.

The Money.com review of OnDeck small business loans confirms the Broadway office and the Enova ownership, which the sweep could not verify from company pages alone. Speed of funding is the headline. Rarely does the reconciliation clause sit near the funding figures. What the owner examines now, or discovers later, sets the price of the negotiation.

Forward Financing

Forward Financing LLC of Boston Massachusetts lists 53 State Street in Boston on its Forward Financing about page for its Boston base. Revenue based financing through business loans for any business purpose is the offer, with decision within hours and often same day funding.

Whether speed of decision predicts rigidity of collection is a question the sweep record leaves open, and the owner should read the agreement as if the answer were yes. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Richmond Capital Group

The file closes with a ban. RCG Advances LLC, formerly Richmond Capital Group LLC, also traded as Viceroy Capital Funding and Ram Capital Funding from New York (the trade names matter because the industry bans that followed attached to the operators behind them), with no verified street address and no operating website. The FTC case page adds related entity Ram Capital Funding LLC and principals Robert Giardina, Jonathan Braun, and Tzvi Reich. The companies are defunct, an extremely thin file for the size of the judgments below.

The FTC case page for the action against RCG Advances alleged deceptive MCA terms, collections the orders call unfair, and withdrawals taken without authorization, and the orders that followed imposed a permanent industry ban on the companies and Giardina, with $1.5M upfront plus subsequent payments above $1.2M for redress, while Braun received summary judgment, a permanent injunction, and a $20.3M judgment. The New York Attorney General announcement of the judgment against Richmond Capital records a February 2024 judgment above $77,298,631 for illegal high interest loans disguised as MCAs, following a 2023 victory that canceled small business debts.

The companies are gone. The judgments remain. Bans outlive companies the way judgments outlive collectors: on paper, past the life of the firm. Resist the urge to treat this file as precedent for any other balance, even briefly. The orders below bind the parties they name, and nothing else in this lineup stands canceled by association.

Reaching settlement help after the advance funds

Consultation is where this conversation begins. Independent counsel handles the legal work a settlement company does not perform, and the early file decides what counsel can argue.

The notice arrives once. The file should arrive first.

FAQ

How much can debt settlement save?
Typical settlements range from 30–60 cents on the dollar, depending on the funder, contract terms, and legal leverage available.
Can I settle if a COJ has been filed?
Yes — but you need legal intervention, not just negotiation. Attorney-coordinated firms can file motions to vacate and stay enforcement.
How long does debt settlement take?
Specialized firms typically resolve cases in 2–6 months — much faster than general debt settlement programs.
Will it affect my credit score?
MCA debt is generally not reported to consumer credit bureaus, so settlement typically doesn't impact your personal credit.
