Full 2026 rankings, city guides, and red-flag checks: Business Cash Advance Settlement.

Exiting MCA debt begins with an inventory of paper, not with a phone call to any company.

This is an editorial evaluation of named providers against stated criteria (services offered, business model, public enforcement record), and the order reflects editorial judgment on those criteria rather than any purchased ranking. No scores, savings figures, ratings, review counts, or licensing findings are assigned. The six entries below run from the one settlement company that negotiates exits to lenders whose products compose the debt, and the comparison closes with a defunct funder whose public record explains why exits require counsel.

Steps the owner takes, or does not take, in the first weeks decide the options available in the later months. The processor receipts tell the story the statements omit, so gather every agreement, filing, and notice before engaging any provider.

Delancey Street

Delancey Street Debt Relief Inc of New York lists MCA settlement with Reconciliation Shield, Proactive MCA Defense, and UCC lien defense in its own navigation, and the contact page gives 104 W 40th Street in New York as its address. The company describes itself as a private business debt relief company based in New York, and the sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action, which reports a search result and proves no clean record.

The own site states Delancey Street is not a law firm. Negotiation over balances, written releases, and filing withdrawals moves toward terms that only independent counsel can test for legal sufficiency, and the company coordinates with independently licensed counsel for legal work while offering a confidential initial review. A sentence conceded early is later read against the business.

Simply carry the full paper file to the first conversation, and the company will examine and assess each obligation, negotiate and document the terms it can obtain, and construct a position that accounts for both the ledger and the cash flow behind it. The objective is to ensure no statement is made without counsel present, and to ensure the legal work stays with independent counsel. I keep a copy of the worst agreement I ever read, though I no longer remember which client brought it.

GoKapital

GoKapital of Miami Florida keeps its main office at 3191 Coral Way, and the own site nav divides the menu between real estate financing, with hard money, investment properties, commercial real estate loans, bridge loans, and foreign national loans, and business loan solutions, with business line of credit, merchant cash advance, working capital, equipment financing and leasing, small business loans, and startup business loans. The sweep surfaced no enforcement action at state or federal level.

But the width of a menu never discloses the weight of any single product on it. Servicing four advances from one account resembles tuning four radios to one outlet: the wiring was never rated for it.

OnDeck

OnDeck of New York, with its main office at 1400 Broadway and a mailing address in South Jordan Utah for customer service inquiry, offers business term loans with a business line of credit, and the own homepage states credit limits from $6K to $200K with funding up to $400K and funds as soon as 24 hours after approval. The application runs online, and the sweep describes the company as owned by Enova.

Two notices in March decided more than the fourteen pages around them. Speed is priced in order to precede diligence, and the gap between the funding promise and the collection letter looks outlandish only the first time. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action, and the agreement, as always, controls.

National Funding

National Funding Inc of San Diego California gives 4380 La Jolla Village Drive as its address, and the own site offers working capital with term loans, inventory financing, receivables financing, short term financing, and equipment financing. The own site prints a California Financing Law license number, 603A169, and states that working capital payments are remitted daily or weekly over terms of 4 months to 24 months.

In 2019, before the recent wave of state MCA disclosure rules, a license number on a footer attracted less attention than it does now. Lenders who never ask about existing advances have already answered the only question that matters, and in most of the files we have seen, though the sample is not scientific, the undisclosed stack surfaces only after the second debit fails.

Balboa Capital

Balboa Capital Corporation, now operating as Ameris Bank Equipment Finance and a division of Ameris Bank, remains headquartered in Costa Mesa California, and the own homepage offers equipment financing with commercial financing, small business loans, SBA loans from $400,000 to $5 million, vendor financing, franchise financing, and equipment leasing. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

The acquisition changed the letterhead rather than the ledger. The own site copy is extremely detailed on loan products and extremely spare on what the acquisition changed for existing borrowers.

Every stack I have seen began with a renewal check nobody needed.

Product terms rest on the own site summary.

Yellowstone Capital

Yellowstone Capital LLC of Jersey City New Jersey, a New York limited liability company whose parent is Fundry LLC, sold merchant cash advances repaid through daily automatic payments, with the address on the bureau profile reading 1 Evertrust Plaza, Floor 14, and the company website is dead and could not be verified.

The Federal Trade Commission alleged continued withdrawals from business bank accounts after balances were repaid, and the stipulated order carried payment of more than $9.8 million with 7,731 refund checks totaling over $9.7M. The New Jersey Attorney General announced a 27.375 million dollar settlement over alleged unlawful lending, servicing, and collection practices, with approximately $21.75M in balance forgiveness and $5.625M for restitution, penalties, fees, and costs, while the New York Attorney General announced a 1 billion dollar settlement with a Yellowstone controlled network carrying over $534M in debt cancellation across more than 18,000 businesses nationally with over 1,100 in New York, and at least $16M in restitution.

Whether a successor brand could repeat the pattern above is a question worth holding open. The receipts decide.

Choosing an exit path in 2026

Often we see owners arrive with statements but without agreements. Consultation is where this conversation begins, and Delancey Street offers a confidential initial review as a settlement company rather than a law firm, while independent counsel handles the legal work the company does not perform. Resist the urge to answer the next debit notice with concessions, even briefly, before counsel has reviewed the file. Whether this holds outside New York is a question I cannot answer from this desk.

FAQ

How much can debt settlement save?
Typical settlements range from 30–60 cents on the dollar, depending on the funder, contract terms, and legal leverage available.
Can I settle if a COJ has been filed?
Yes — but you need legal intervention, not just negotiation. Attorney-coordinated firms can file motions to vacate and stay enforcement.
How long does debt settlement take?
Specialized firms typically resolve cases in 2–6 months — much faster than general debt settlement programs.
Will it affect my credit score?
MCA debt is generally not reported to consumer credit bureaus, so settlement typically doesn't impact your personal credit.
