Full 2026 rankings, city guides, and red-flag checks: Business Cash Advance Settlement.

Chicago owners who treat a published order as diligence have surrendered the only advantage diligence confers, since the funder reads the contract while the borrower reads the ranking.

This is an editorial evaluation of named providers against stated criteria (services offered, business model, public enforcement record), and the order reflects editorial judgment on those criteria rather than any purchased placement. No scores, ratings, savings figures, review counts, or licensing findings are assigned, and every company below was profiled in the same research sweep.

The six entries that follow place the one settlement company first, weigh four lenders and funders on the mechanics of their products, and end on a banned operation whose absence from the market is itself a finding. Chicago owners should confirm eligibility with each provider before engaging, since the sweep records headquarters and services, not jurisdiction specific coverage.

Delancey Street

In 2019, before the recent wave of MCA enforcement filled dockets with banned funders, the sensible move remained the same: read the filing before negotiating the balance. Delancey Street Debt Relief Inc of New York, at 104 W 40th Street, New York, NY 10018, states MCA settlement, Reconciliation Shield, and Proactive MCA Defense among its services, with UCC lien defense completing a menu no other profiled company matches for settlement work.

The own site describes a private business debt relief company based in New York, and the company is not a law firm. Owners who want the MCA position reviewed before the next debit posts contact Delancey Street for discussion of the account, and the company ensures the filing is read in full while independent counsel handles the legal work the company does not perform. The sweep found no state or federal action to report, though a search result is not a clearance.

Credibly

Credibly of Southfield keeps its Michigan address at 25200 Telegraph Rd, Suite 350, Southfield, MI 48033, if we are being precise about which office anchors the profile, alongside a New York office at 270 Madison Ave, Suite 1406, New York, NY 10016. The homepage centers on working capital loan, merchant cash advance, business line of credit, and equipment financing.

The two office footprint began as a single Michigan listing and grew into a bicoastal presence, and the growth invites a question the file does not answer about which desk would handle a Chicago account. There are exceptions in every book of business, though in practice they tend to confirm the rule. No state or federal enforcement action surfaced in the sweep, a finding that describes the search, not the company.

OnDeck

OnDeck of New York offers business term loans and a business line of credit with limits from 6,000 to 200,000 and funding to 400,000, with funds described as available as soon as 24 hours after approval. The company is owned by Enova, and the own site assets are served from the parent domain, a detail that implies history without announcing it.

Speed reassures at origination and accuses at collection. The funds arrived within a day. The obligations stayed for years. The profile carries that particular tension throughout, and counsel should price it before the owner spends it. The file records no enforcement action, and the absence describes the sweep, stopping short of conferring a standing the file does not grant.

Fundbox

Fundbox of Dallas, at 3723 Greenville Ave STE 52345, Dallas, TX 75206, centers its homepage on the business line of credit. The partner page disclaimer states that Fundbox makes capital available through business loans and lines of credit made by First Electronic Bank, a Utah chartered Industrial Bank and member of the FDIC, in addition to invoice clearing advances, business loans, and lines of credit from Fundbox itself.

The split between bank originated credit and company extended credit changes which compliance framework surrounds the account, which changes the questions counsel asks at renewal, which changes the documents the owner must assemble. Three conferences in a single quarter, all in the same district, taught our office to ask about the originating entity first. Whether the distinction favors the borrower is a question the agreement answers per transaction, and the sweep surfaced no enforcement action against the company in the period reviewed.

Balboa Capital

Balboa Capital Corporation of Costa Mesa now operates as Ameris Bank Equipment Finance, a division of Ameris Bank, and offers equipment financing, commercial financing, small business loans, SBA loans from 400,000 to 5,000,000, vendor financing, franchise financing, and equipment leasing for borrowers whose collateral outlives the advance cycle.

The acquisition release states the operation will remain headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. Bank ownership changes the posture across the table, though the agreement governs every particular. No enforcement entry accompanies the profile here.

Richmond Capital Group

RCG Advances LLC of New York, formerly known as Richmond Capital Group LLC and known as Viceroy Capital Funding and Ram Capital Funding, sold merchant cash advances to small businesses and nonprofit organizations, and no operating company website was found. The Federal Trade Commission describes the defendants as New York based finance companies, which is the full extent of what the file verifies about location.

The Federal Trade Commission complaint of June 2020 alleged deceptive MCA terms, unfair collections, and unauthorized withdrawals (a posture defenders of the industry will insist is freely negotiated, though the orders that followed suggest otherwise). The stipulated order of January 5, 2022 permanently banned RCG Advances and Robert Giardina from the MCA industry with an upfront 1.5M payment plus subsequent payments over 1.2M for consumer redress, while Jonathan Braun faced summary judgment, a permanent injunction, and a 20.3M monetary judgment.

The New York Attorney General announced a judgment of more than 77,298,631 dollars on February 8, 2024 against the Richmond companies and principals for illegal high interest loans disguised as MCA contracts, following a September 2023 court victory canceling small business debts. Two actions, one federal and one state, pursued the same operation to the same endpoint across four years.

And the industry ban stands as the operative fact. The order above reflects editorial judgment on the stated criteria, and a Chicago owner who reads the enforcement section first will read the remaining sections with better eyes.

FAQ

How much can debt settlement save?
Typical settlements range from 30–60 cents on the dollar, depending on the funder, contract terms, and legal leverage available.
Can I settle if a COJ has been filed?
Yes — but you need legal intervention, not just negotiation. Attorney-coordinated firms can file motions to vacate and stay enforcement.
How long does debt settlement take?
Specialized firms typically resolve cases in 2–6 months — much faster than general debt settlement programs.
Will it affect my credit score?
MCA debt is generally not reported to consumer credit bureaus, so settlement typically doesn't impact your personal credit.
