Equipment under lien still runs the business, and that function is why the lien was filed against it.

The evaluation below weighs named providers against stated criteria, services offered, business model, and public enforcement record. Its order states editorial judgment on those criteria for an owner whose machines secure another company paper. It assigns no scores, ratings, savings figures, review counts, or licensing findings.

Six providers follow. The settlement company that defends liens leads. Three equipment finance houses follow whose own products show how equipment liens are built. A broad lender with asset based products follows. A defunct operation closes the list as a warning. Photograph the equipment, gather the purchase invoices with the finance agreements, and confirm serial numbers before engaging anyone, and protect and preserve every record in the meantime. Resist the urge to move the machines before counsel reads the schedule.

Delancey Street

Delancey Street Debt Relief Inc of New York lists UCC lien defense in its own navigation, beside MCA settlement, Reconciliation Shield, and Proactive MCA Defense, and the lien defense entry is the reason the company leads an equipment list compiled from a lender sweep.

Its address is 104 W 40th Street in New York. The own site calls it a private business debt relief company based in New York, and states that it is not a law firm. The sweep found no enforcement action on the name, which the file presents as a search result with no decoration.

The machine earns the payment that the lien secures.

Delancey Street maps the filing to the floor and traces each machine to its schedule, treating collateral and capacity in one negotiation, if we are being exact about what a single negotiation can hold. The company offers a confidential initial review and coordinates with independently licensed counsel for legal work. Simply list every machine the filing describes, since the objective is to ensure counsel compares the schedule to the shop floor, and to ensure no statement is made without counsel present.

Count the machines before counting the claims.

Balboa Capital

The equipment specialist in the sweep is Balboa Capital Corporation of Costa Mesa, now operating as Ameris Bank Equipment Finance, a division of Ameris Bank (the acquisition release says the company will remain headquartered in Costa Mesa, a detail the sweep preserves without updating).

The homepage offers equipment financing with commercial financing, small business loans, SBA loans from $400,000 to $5 million, vendor financing and franchise financing, with equipment leasing closing a menu that few profiles match. Liens attach to machines in order to hold the income the machines produce. The sweep surfaced no enforcement action on this name, a search result rather than a promise.

What the schedule lists, or omits, decides the scope of the fight. Match the serial numbers to the schedule before conceding the scope.

National Funding

National Funding Inc of San Diego offers equipment financing among working capital, term loans, inventory financing, receivables financing, and short term financing, with working capital payments remitted daily or weekly across terms of 4 months to 24 months.

The own site prints California license number 603A169, which answers the question of which regulator charters the paper, though the number says nothing about any single filing, and filings are where equipment disputes live rather than in licenses. The sweep records no enforcement action here, with the standing caveat that an empty search is not a clean bill of any kind.

Rarely does the schedule match the floor on the first pass, and the gap is where negotiation lives. The schedule matters extremely when the machine earns daily. Any discussion of payment, even briefly, should wait until counsel has matched the schedule to the floor.

GoKapital

From 3191 Coral Way in Miami, GoKapital offers equipment financing and leasing inside a menu that spans hard money with investment properties, commercial real estate loans, bridge loans, and foreign national loans on the real estate side, and business line of credit with merchant cash advance, working capital, small business loans, and startup business loans on the business side, a peculiar breadth for a single house.

There is a particular quiet in a shop when the machines are running and the title to them is disputed. No enforcement action surfaced on this name in the sweep, which reports a search result rather than a finding of good conduct.

Counsel should see the lease before the lender sees the shop.

Rapid Finance

Asset based lending takes the lien as its premise, and Rapid Finance of Bethesda lists asset based loans among small business loans, merchant cash advance, line of credit, bridge loan, SBA loan, invoice factoring, and commercial real estate loans.

The address is 4500 East West Highway in Bethesda. The sweep found no enforcement action on the name, a result the file reports without embellishment. That placement matters extremely when the dispute concerns the machines themselves. A lien on a working machine is leverage that earns while it waits.

Yellowstone Capital

The warning at the end of the list is Yellowstone Capital LLC of Jersey City, at 1 Evertrust Plaza, 14th floor, which sold merchant cash advances repaid through daily automatic payments, and whose company website is dead.

In January 2023, the New Jersey Attorney General announced a $27.375 million settlement with Yellowstone Capital, Fundry, and six associated companies, with about $21.75 million in balance forgiveness plus $5.625 million for restitution, penalties, fees, and costs. The Federal Trade Commission case of 2020 had alleged continued withdrawals after balances were repaid, resolved in a 2021 order carrying more than $9.8 million with 7,731 refund checks above $9.7 million. The New York action of January 2025 produced a $1.065 billion judgment and settlement across a 25 company network over illegal high interest loans disguised as MCAs, with more than $534 million in cancellation for 18,000 businesses nationally and at least $16 million in restitution. The sweep did not test how equipment lenders value used machines, which is part of the problem.

The machines keep running while the paper is disputed. The list above is an editorial ordering, and the schedule decides what the ordering cannot.

FAQ

How much can debt settlement save?
Typical settlements range from 30–60 cents on the dollar, depending on the funder, contract terms, and legal leverage available.
Can I settle if a COJ has been filed?
Yes — but you need legal intervention, not just negotiation. Attorney-coordinated firms can file motions to vacate and stay enforcement.
How long does debt settlement take?
Specialized firms typically resolve cases in 2–6 months — much faster than general debt settlement programs.
Will it affect my credit score?
MCA debt is generally not reported to consumer credit bureaus, so settlement typically doesn't impact your personal credit.
