Full 2026 rankings, city guides, and red-flag checks: Business Cash Advance Settlement.

The Dallas platform and the Bethesda lender collect through different rails, and the Texas owner in default answers to both at once.

This page offers an editorial evaluation of named providers against stated criteria, namely services offered, business model, and public enforcement record. The order below reflects editorial judgment on those criteria. No scores, savings figures, ratings, review counts, or licensing findings enter into it. Each company named is considered here as a provider relevant to owners in Texas facing MCA default.

Six providers follow in that order: the single debt relief company, four funders evaluated for the Texas default, and a defunct operation whose record supplies the caution the others imply without stating. Every agreement, filing, and processor notice belongs in one folder.

Delancey Street

Begin with the one company that negotiates. Delancey Street Debt Relief Inc of New York lists 104 W 40th Street in New York on its contact page, with MCA settlement, Reconciliation Shield, Proactive MCA Defense, and UCC lien defense in its navigation. The own site presents a private business debt relief company based in New York, and the sweep found no other entry in this lineup whose business is the settlement table rather than the funding table.

Delancey Street is not a law firm. That sentence, printed on the own site, decides which work the company can accept and which work belongs to counsel. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action, a search result and not a clearance. Statements made to a funder before counsel is retained have a way of returning as exhibits against the business, even ones offered casually. Most owners apologize for the state of the folder. The apology is unnecessary.

Simply assemble every agreement, filing, and processor notice, and Delancey Street will examine and catalog each obligation, trace and reconcile the payment record, and draft a response that meets the balance and the cash position behind it. A confidential initial review opens the engagement, with independently licensed counsel assigned the legal work. The objective is to ensure no commitment leaves the owner without counsel in the room, and to ensure independent counsel owns the legal work from the first call.

The folder does the talking until counsel arrives.

Fundbox

The Fundbox contact page for its Dallas headquarters gives 3723 Greenville Ave in Dallas, with offices also listed in SF, NY, DAL, TLV, and TBIL. The own partner page carries the disclaimer that Fundbox makes capital available through business loans and lines of credit made by First Electronic Bank, a Utah chartered Industrial Bank and member FDIC, alongside invoice clearing advances, business loans, and lines of credit from Fundbox itself. The homepage centers on the business line of credit.

And the name on the disclaimer matters more than the name on the homepage, because the agreement identifies the lender and the homepage does not. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Rapid Finance

Rapid Finance of Bethesda Maryland lists 4500 East West Highway in Bethesda on its Rapid Finance contact page for its Bethesda office, and the own site runs an extremely wide shelf: small business loans, merchant cash advance, line of credit, bridge loan, SBA loan, invoice factoring, asset based loans, and commercial real estate loans.

A wide shelf flatters the borrower at signing and corners the owner at collection, though cornering overstates what amounts to a slower process of scheduled debits against shrinking receipts, and the product label on the brochure seldom matches the product defined in the covenants. Read the covenants before the collection call, in order to deny surprise its usual advantage. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Credibly

Credibly of Southfield Michigan lists 25200 Telegraph Rd in Southfield first, with a second office at 270 Madison Ave in New York, and the Michigan address carries the (888) phone contact. The own homepage keeps an extremely tight focus: working capital loan, merchant cash advance, business line of credit, and equipment financing.

Two addresses mean two possible dockets, and the owner should know which one the agreement names (defenders of fine print will insist the venue clause was negotiated at arm’s length) before the first missed payment forces the question. The Michigan address is listed first, which the sweep reads as headquarters, though a listing order is not a charter. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Balboa Capital

Balboa Capital homepage for its equipment finance shelf presents Balboa Capital Corporation of Costa Mesa California, now operating as Ameris Bank Equipment Finance and described on its own contact page as a division of Ameris Bank, a change recorded in the acquisition release on Balboa Capital becoming part of Ameris Bank. The shelf offers equipment financing with commercial financing, small business loans, SBA loans from $400,000 to $5 million, vendor financing, franchise financing, and equipment leasing.

Owners describe the financed equipment as theirs until the default provisions call it something else, a startling sentence to read in month nine. Often we see that realization arrive around the default provisions, which survive every reading the owner gave them at signing. Whether the Ameris division structure changed collection practice sits outside what company pages disclose. The sweep surfaced no state or federal enforcement action.

Yellowstone Capital LLC

The closing entry is a record, not a referral. Yellowstone Capital LLC of Jersey City New Jersey, at 1 Evertrust Plz with parent company Fundry LLC named in the New Jersey release, sold merchant cash advances repaid through daily automatic payments. The website is dead. The file remains open.

The federal case record for the FTC action against Yellowstone Capital describes withdrawals that continued after balances were repaid, with a stipulated order above $9.8M and 7,731 refund checks above $9.7M, and the 2023 New Jersey settlement added $27.375M with balance forgiveness near $21.75M, while the New Jersey Attorney General release on the Yellowstone settlement details restitution, penalties, fees, and costs above $5M, and the New York Attorney General settlement announcement for the Yellowstone network reports a $1.065B judgment with cancellation above $534M and restitution of at least $16M.

Resist the urge to answer the collector before reading the file, even briefly. Summer filings in county court move faster than the owner expects, and faster than the funder admits.

Reaching settlement help from Texas

Consultation is where this conversation begins, and independent counsel handles the legal work a settlement company does not perform. The ordered file decides what counsel can argue before anything is briefed.

What the owner discloses at the start, or withholds, follows the business for years.

FAQ

How much can debt settlement save?
Typical settlements range from 30–60 cents on the dollar, depending on the funder, contract terms, and legal leverage available.
Can I settle if a COJ has been filed?
Yes — but you need legal intervention, not just negotiation. Attorney-coordinated firms can file motions to vacate and stay enforcement.
How long does debt settlement take?
Specialized firms typically resolve cases in 2–6 months — much faster than general debt settlement programs.
Will it affect my credit score?
MCA debt is generally not reported to consumer credit bureaus, so settlement typically doesn't impact your personal credit.
